REFLECTION ON AS LEVELS

This year we will be learning and perfecting knowledge learnt and waiting to be learnt to achieve our desired grade.

Last year, we were informed about the different variations of angles, movements and shots used to create a film and all the characteristics that make up film making. We learnt about them in depth and did activities to practise our knowledge like analysing clips of films, from series... 

We created a film opening per group and 2 preliminary tasks per film opening. In my group, after many decisions, we decided that our film opening would be in the horror genre. It consisted about a girl taking a walk through the forest when she encounters herself with her stalker. He commenced to follow her and chase her until he fell over and the girl had time to hide away and call her mum. As she is waiting to be rescued by her mum, the stalker found her and hit her in the head with a stone.
For our preliminary tasks, one of them was a practise of the final film opening, and the other one described my routine as I return home and leaving to go out with my friends.
To construct these, we used applications like Windows Movie Maker and iMovie, as we were beginners and hopefully will utilize more advanced software to improve quality of our projects.

To include, we used phone cameras and a camera to film our previous projects, but this year we have purchased a brand-new Canon camera to help increase and develop our final grade. The camera I used last year was a Nikon L850, but we decided to improve quality of our projects with a new Canon camera.
